Meet the Trainer, James Hamm
About Me
Hi, I’m James Hamm, founder of Lonestar Dog Trainer. I’ve spent decades working with dogs of all breeds and ages, helping them become well-behaved, confident companions. I specialize in Board and Train programs, puppy training, and advanced obedience training throughout Texas.
My Training Philosophy
I believe every dog can be trained to live harmoniously in your home. My approach combines positive reinforcement, real-world socialization, and customized programs to meet your dog’s unique needs. I focus on shaping confident, polite, and happy dogs, not just teaching commands.
"The most efficient and impactful dog training is produced by mirroring the way dogs interact and learn.
